The Derby Women’s Centre holds a Swans Walking Group every 2nd Friday of the month. Our April event happened to fall on Friday the 13 April and the group made a trip to Leicester to visit the Richard III centre. In keeping with traditions of the Friday 13th superstition not everything went according to plan, but a great day was had by all. They all arrived back home in Derby cheery and enthused by a very royal day.
The group gives women the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy good company, get some exercise, and take part in trips and events throughout the year. Why not get involved and contact the centre for more details of what work we do for the women of Derby and Derbyshire.
