BBC East Midlands today visited the centre this afternoon after first covering our plight at the beginning of September with the centre at risk of imminent closure.
It is with great pride that we can share with the people of Derby and Derbyshire that the centre has received donations meaning we can run up to Christmas this year. It has been a truly humbling time, THANK YOU everyone for your wishes, support and donations. But let’s not stop there, we have proved and delivered what seemed like the impossible.
