Celebrating Achievement Through Clay at Derby Women’s Centre November 2019

We are running a free workshop offering a few activities.  These are talking about our life stories and focusing on celebrating successes through clay. Delpha Hudson an experienced teacher, currently doing a project at Artcore that celebrates women and domestic care, has been kind enough to offer to run a course at Derby Women’s Centre. Swan’s Walking Group October 2019 visit The Knife Angel

On October 11 2019 Derby Women’s Centre Swan’s Walking Group went for a walk to see The Knife Angel at the Cathedral. It was a very moving visit and everyone had a moment of quiet as they took in this amazing structure. The Knife Angel stands at 27 feet high and has been made up of 100,000 bladed weapons collected in knife banks during police surrenders across the country.
