Why work with us
Our value is not only in individual services. It is also in being a trusted place where women can ask for help, recover at their own pace and reconnect with community.
Derby Women’s Centre has been part of the city since 1978, with a long-standing physical base on Leopold Street.
Our approach starts with listening, confidentiality and helping women identify the right next step rather than expecting them to navigate complex systems alone.
We can combine Centre-led services with carefully identified partner delivery where specialist expertise adds value.

Discuss commissioningWe can explore collaborative projects where shared expertise, trusted relationships and community access can create a stronger offer.
Discuss partnershipOur delivery model
Derby Women’s Centre remains the trusted community setting. Where specialist organisations bring additional expertise, we can host or collaborate on clearly identified partner-delivered programmes.
This helps women access a wider range of support without losing the familiarity and accessibility of a local women’s centre.
Spark & Spectrum CIC supports neurodivergent individuals and SEND families and can deliver specialist community programmes through the Centre.
Evidence & reporting
We can discuss the monitoring, reporting and outcome requirements relevant to a specific fund or commission. Verified organisational statistics, case studies and reporting information can be supplied by the Centre where available.
