NCS – The National Careers Service – 2020

Derby Women’s Centre is looking forward to working together with the NCS once lockdown is completely eased and it is safe to operate courses once again.  But before then you can still access the NCS for help and for courses.   The National Careers Service   What is our service?  The National Careers Service offers information, advice and guidance to adults on employment and learning.  It is government funded and is completely free of charge.   Who is entitled to the National Careers Service advice and support? Signposting people in high risk groups to self-management support and information   As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an important task across the Personalised Care Group to identify practical ways that we can support people staying at home. Derby Women’s Centre Swans Walking Group – Friday 13 March 2020

Derby Women’s Swans Walking Group meet the second Friday of every month and our next one is Friday the Friday 13 March 2020 from 10.15 to 1.00.  It is a social walking group accessible to all women and an easy activity which is great for overall health.  All are welcome.   I attach a poster for you to distribute within your organisation and to place on your notice boards.  Please bring sufficient money to cover coffee.   Please note that we shall be meeting between 10.15 and 10.30 at the main entrance of Primark n the Corn Market.
